A good run might have ended in disappointing fashion recently but there’s a good opportunity to put it right this weekend.

AFC Wimbledon take on struggling Mansfield at Kingsmeadow on Saturday afternoon and we’d have to view this as “a good opportunity” to get back to winning ways.

Sammy Moore (suspension) can return for us and Harry Pell (knee) is also in contention to return after injury.

We’ve lost Kevin Feely (hamstring) though. With him facing several weeks on the sidelines he returned to his parent club Charlton.

The Stags might have started the season on fire but they’ve been on a woeful run of late, but a game we might have fancied winning last time backfired on us didn’t it!

With that in mind we’ve got to be very wary of complacency and treat our opponents with respect.

Consistency is something that we need to find, and I hope we can start that tomorrow so I would still like to think that we’ll have enough to get the three points, a point at least….
