Neal Ardley continues to look at defensive options this summer as he looks to increase those he can select from in his squad this season following his squad overhaul at the end of the last.

Matthew Parsons can play in either central defence or at left back and he was given the full 90-minutes in the three-nil defeat to Margate on Saturday, he can’t be held accountable for all of this mind!

The 22-year-old former Crystal Palace youngster was with Plymouth Argyle last season, featuring against us at the tail end of last season before his release at the end of his contract with our league 2 rivals.

Ardley is almost complete with his squad now with Parsons having the chance to be one of those final pieces in that puzzle.

Callum Kennedy continues to train with us too and might yet return?
