Manager Neal Ardley has previewed the Cambridge game this weekend and confirmed that Harry Pell comes back into contention now following his loan spell at Grimsby Town.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game, he explained.

‘Tom (Beere) just had a toe operation this week so he will probably be out for a month or so. Harry (Pell) has come back from his loan spell and he comes in to strengthen us in the midfield area for a busy schedule ahead. Andy keeps trying to come back from an ankle injury, but he has some long term issues that have occurred throughout his career. The other day he felt it again and he’s very down about it. He’s a warrior and we all feel for him.’

Ardley goes on to say that he does have Sean Rigg and George Francomb back now as well so he’s pretty happy with the options available to him again.

The gaffer went on to talk more about the run of fixtures we have now, and of course with Cambridge up next we know one of their threats very well in the shape of Kwesi Appiah.

‘We know Kwesi well and they have threats all over the pitch. They are big, strong and well organised. We will have to have a high energy about us and be good going forward otherwise we will not be able to open them up. But we’re in good form and we want to try and keep that going.’
