Charlie Strutton spent some time with AFC Wimbledon in the season just ended, he in fact signed on a short-term contract but is now again a free agent.

The striker joined from non-league Chalfont St Peter and was then instantly loaned to Maidenhead but had his season ended early by injury.

Terry Brown, as he told The Hounslow Chronicle is ‘open minded’ about him being looked at again this summer though: ‘we are keeping an open mind with Charlie. He’s been very unfortunate with injuries, and would’ve got a chance with us at the end of the year had it not been for his ankle problem.

‘He’s having treatment with a specialist to get him 100 per cent right. We’ll hopefully have another look at him in the summer.’
