Sky Sports are reporting today that they understand that Wimbledon defender Jim Fenlon has rejected the offer that we put on the table for him this summer.

Wimbledon are keen to tie down the future of the 20 year old given the potential manager Neal Ardley believes he has, and he is out of contract this summer and Sky are saying that there is a clause in his existing deal that allows him to move without us receiving compensation when that deal ends, although I’m not sure that’s the case with training compensation?

The full back has now gone on to make 41 appearances for the club since making his debut, and in that time he has scored two goals.

Hopefully this won’t prove to be true, but as of yet there is no confirmation from the club either way.
