Neal Ardley is looking to put the finishing touches to his Wimbledon squad for next season, whoever comes in isn’t likely to be of the stature of the strikers secured but they’ll still offer plenty.

One option that Ardley could move for, if Get West London is correct, could be free agent Joey Jones who could be offered ‘a football league lifeline’ by the club?

Jones came through the youth system at Leicester City but following his release last summer he was snapped up by Yeovil Town after an unsuccessful trial with Brentford. During his time with the championship side he struggled for football and went on loan to non-league outfit Woking in January.

The ‘versatile defender’ was released by Yeovil following their relegation back into league 1 with the 20-year-old on ‘the radar’ of the Dons boss by all accounts….
