The Dons face Hartlepool tonight in a second successive game at Kingsmeadow with new signing Danny Hylton available for selection, subject to Football League confirmation. The Dons are likely to line up in the 5-3-2 formation that has been favoured in recent weeks.

Kennedy is unlikely to feature though after being forced off half an hour into Saturday’s win over Exeter with an ankle injury and Fuller too picked up a knock in that game but with Fenlon returning from suspension following his straight red at Wycombe and Arthur starting to regain his fitness the Dons have competition for places at fullback. It would be good to see the impressive Sainte-Luce get a chance but Ardley will be unlikely to start the winger.

Dons line-up (expected): Worner, Fuller, Fenlon, Bennett, Antwi, Jones, S Moore, Pell, L Moore, Wyke, Midson; subs: Hylton, Sheringham, Francomb, Sainte-Luce, Arthur, Morris, Brown.

Dons line-up (desired): Worner, Arthur, Sainte-Luce, Bennett, Jones, Fuller, S Moore, Pell, Sheringham, Hylton, Midson.

The Dons were convincingly beaten 3-1 by an in-form Hartlepool side earlier in the season but their opponents now lie just a point behind the Dons and themselves having been in true mid-table form in recent weeks with a win over York in Saturday ending a sequence of 3 consecutive defeats. The Monkey Hangers are without striker Poole as well as the injured Duckworth and suspended Richards but may consider giving Barmby junior a start up front after his goal-scoring cameo at the weekend. The Dons will also have to keep a close eye on former Forest target-man Marlon Harewood.

On a personal note, I myself am particularly looking forward to this game as I will be sampling the Dons match day hospitality package for the first time tonight!
