AFC Wimbledon, and Aaron Morris, will be keeping fingers firmly crossed that his weekend injury isn’t too serious.
Morris was forced off in the second half against Oxford, which was a blow for Wimbledon in more ways than one as Neal Ardley branded him “excellent”, and now the club have to hope that his groin injury isn’t a bad one.
Ardley worked with the 24-year-old when he was with Cardiff previously and had it not been for a serious injury he would have brought the defender to Kingsmeadow sooner but this latest injury is a blow for them and Morris.
In other news today the club have confirmed that they have signed up 8-year-old Blake Glass.
The youngster came through one of the clubs development centres and has been rewarded for his development with a place in the clubs academy. Maybe one day we’ll see Glass breaking, no pun intended, into the first-team….
