George Oakley could have quite an impact for Wimbledon this season, although the youngster looks set to miss the opening part of it.
Illness had laid the young striker low recently, he overcame that to return to full training only to then pick up an injury!
A training ground hamstring injury last Friday looks as though it will sideline the striker for ‘a few weeks’ at least with Neal Ardley revealing that he expects Oakley to be absent when the league 2 season kicks-off Saturday week.
Ironically he was injured doing some ‘extra work on crossing and finishing’….
