AFC Wimbledon’s involvement in this season Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is over after a southern section defeat to Swindon.

League one outfit Swindon booked their place in the quarter finals after a penalty shootout win.

Oliver Risser (68) had given Swindon a lead but Rashid Yussuff’s (82) goal in the final 10-minutes forced a 1-1 draw, and sent the game to a penalty shootout.

Swindon keeper Phil Smith saved from Lee Minshull, Ricky Wellard and Chris Bush to see Swindon to a 3-1 shootout win.
