With the opening game of the season, and the league cup, now out of the way AFC Wimbledon need to start looking ahead to the rest of the campaign.

Next up is the home game with Wycombe on Saturday, Neal Ardley knows he’ll need more from his side this weekend but knows what the opponents will be all about and how best to handle them.

Ardley told BBC London 94.9: ‘We will look, at times, a little bit fragmented and caught between two stools as we all get to know the philosophy.

‘Gareth has got a very, very good team there at Wycombe and he is a good manager.

‘They will be fit, strong and in our faces. League Two is not an easy place to be. We need to make sure the players are switched on and ready to go.’

I’ve little doubt that Ardley will have his troops ready, but can the Dons gain their first victory of the season following the draw with Torquay and cup exit against Millwall? I’d not bet against this for sure what about you?

This is the subject of the outcome of this game is the latest poll to your right, so place your bet too!
