Not only is Sammy Moore keen to commit his AFC Wimbledon stay beyond this season he’s already thinking for the remainder of his career.

Moore has been instrumental in Wimbledon’s season, helping them to securing league two safety after an up and down season. Contract talks with players are on hold until the end of the season but the midfielder is already eyeing ending his career at Kingsmeadow.

26-year-old Moore signed for the Dons four-years ago and even though no talks have yet taken place he’s keen to hold them as he sees his future with the club.

He told Get West London: ‘We haven’t discussed anything yet so we’ll have to wait and see. I’m happy to stay here all my life though. I’ve enjoyed it and the club has been great to me since the day I came.

‘I’ve been here four years now and long may that continue.’

Moore’s contract may technically expire this summer but Wimbledon do have the option for another year, which they will almost certainly take up.

Will next season be his last with the club though or do you think he could extend his career, maybe even end it with the Dons, as he wishes to?
