One of the more experienced members of the Dons side 34 year old Jamie Stuart has been given the honour of leading the club for the fortcoming season.

Formerly Staurt was captain of Grays Athletic and Rushden & Diamonds so is no rookie at the role. Previous captain Danny Kedwell is now at Gillingham following his move a few weeks ago.

Brett Johnson is appointed as Vice-Captain as manager Terry Brown looks ahead to the 2011/12 campaign.

Quoted in the Local Guardian Brown said of the appointments: ‘You couldn’t ask for two better characters to be at the leaderboard of my team, Jamie always gives total commitment.’
