Callum McNaughton looks set to join AFC Wimbledon on a permanent basis.

The defender, who arrived at Kingsmeadow in September for a loan spell, has returned to West Ham at the end of his loan but Terry Brown, as he told The Hounslow Chronicle, is expecting to sign him permanently: ‘we’re in discussions with West Ham at the moment.

‘I see Callum having a long-term future with us. He’s in the first team now at 20, and I can only see him getting better.’

20-year-old McNaughton made 16 appearances for Wimbledon during his loan.
