PRE SEASON FRIENDLIES FOR AFC WIMBLEDON.

Can the Dons cut the mustard when they are playing against some very stiff opposition, in the up and coming pre season first team games?
They will be testing times for the whole team, the defence will try to stop fast and goal hungry forwards and we will see if our new midfield has the ability to close down and create chances against top quality opposition.
Our attacking duo of Kedwell and Main will also be under the spotlight to see if they can score against very good defences, assisted hopefully by the attacking midfielders, an area we have been missing out on all last season.
The teams that tend to stand out are Charlton, Millwall and the icing on the cake will be against an Arsenal XI the last home game before the new season begins on 14th August.

But will this new AFC Wimbledon team be a match for high class opposition after Terry Brown released fourteen players from last season`s squad and reducing the squad to eighteen for financial reasons. More importantly will they be able to blend into a decent footballing unit by the beginning of the season and pursue the Wimbledon dream of returning to their rightful place in the football league.
