AFC Wimbledon’s miserable run of form in recent times finally came to an end with an away win at Port Vale on Saturday.

When Richards (31) gave Port Vale the lead shortly after the half hour mark most would have been excused for thinking that another defeat was on but AFC Wimbledon were level before the break when Midson (41) scored.

A decent point looked on for AFC but this turned into all three when L Moore (77) struck late on to give the visitors a 2-1 win.
