Wimbledon are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Paul Robinson in the one nil victory over Crawley Town at the weekend at Kingsmeadow was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Robinson was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘AFC Wimbledon remain in pole position for the Sky Bet League 2`s final Play-Off spot courtesy of a hard-fought win over Crawley Town. Robinson played his part in keeping the Reds out, and then headed a late winner to seal maximum points.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Robinson for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the three points.

Full Team:

Alex Revell (MK Dons), Alex Baptiste (Sheffield United), Andy Butler (Doncaster Rovers), Paul Robinson (Wimbledon), George Boyd (Burnley), Jon Taylor (Peterborough United), Josh Windass (Accrington Stanley), Luke Williams (Scunthorpe United), Jordan Rhodes (Middlesbrough), Joe Pigott (Luton Town), Tomer Hemed (Brighton).

Manager – Adam Murray (Mansfield Town).
