Hot on the heels of one cup-tie Wimbledon are back in action in another cup competition on Tuesday night with an away trip in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

Wimbledon are still in the FA Cup, following Saturday’s first round draw with York City, but on Tuesday night attention turns to the southern quarter final meeting with Bristol City.

Bristol City should have Scott Wagstaff (cramp) back after he was forced off in their FA Cup win over Gillingham with Aaron Wilbraham coming back into contention for the league 1 leaders who could rest some key players.

Andy Frampton (ankle) looks set to be on the sidelines again after injury the ankle he fractured back along, Alan Bennett will fill in.

Matt Tubbs dropped to the bench for the one-one draw with York on Saturday but should be recalled with Queen Park Rangers loanee Frankie Sutherland expected to keep his place after his performance in that game.

Tom Beere (toe) could return to the squad now that he’s fit again.

We’ll face some challenge to make it into the area semi finals but what an incentive awaits, Wembley is just a few games away if we can win on Tuesday….
