AFC Wimbledon will be looking to recover from the Boxing Day defeat with another home game as Plymouth come to Kingsmeadow on Sunday.

Having appealed the red card that George Francomb received against Southend he’ll be eligible to feature on Sunday.

The ankle injury of Alan Bennett and knee injury of Harry Pell need to be looked at to see if they’ll be able take part.

Charlie Strutton’s broken leg of course means he’ll miss out, and will be out for a large part of the season to come, if not the whole season?

Neal Ardley will feel that, but for the controversial Francomb sending off on Boxing Day, Wimbledon would have got something against Southend. He’ll be desperate for this to be the case against Plymouth, as another defeat would make for a depressing Christmas….
