If you’re looking to climb the non-league ladders into the football league then you need look no further that Terry Brown.

The legendary former AFC Wimbledon guided us to promotion after promotion before finally getting us into the football league.

Unfortunately once we made it that far, as time isn’t of the essence in the professional game, a parting of ways came about in September 2012….

Brown has been out of the game since then but has just made his return by taking over at Margate, signing a three-year contract.

I’m not sure what the situation is with Margate but I’m sure that if he’s given time, patience and backing he’ll do a fine job with them, just as he did with us and Hayes and Aldershot before that.

A return to the game has been something he’s wanted for a while but I’ve got to admit, even with England getting battered, if I was in Australia watching the Ashes I’m not sure how keen I would be to get back! Then again that’s Terry Brown for you….

This site is looking for bloggers, so if a fan can offer us a genuine opinion from someone that supports them we would love to share it with the masses!
