It’s being reported in the press today that both Wimbledon and Crawley Town have expressed interest in taking Bournemouth striker Matt Tubbs on loan next season.

The 29 year old ended last season on loan with the League One side, his second spell at the club, and scored eight times in 18 games for them, however it’s said that we have stolen a march on them, and he’s going to reject their offer in favour of moving to us for 2014-15.

As of yet this is just media speculation, and non of the three clubs involved seem to have any confirmation of this yet, but Tubbs certainly seems to know where the net is, so it would be a good coup for manager Neal Ardley if we could tempt him into League 2 given he has at least one League 1 option.
