Not many will be putting bets on us to take a victory in tomorrow’s game against Rochdale, but vice captain Barry Fuller believes that if we can produce a high tempo performance tomorrow, and we are at our best, he feels we do have a chance of taking an unlikely victory against our very in form opponents.

Our best away victory of the season came when we faced Rochdale earlier in the season and we came from behind to make it even more an emotional journey, but Barry knows we definitely need to be Fuller the same kind of desire and determination if we are to repeat that kind of result again.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of the game in front of our own fans, he explained.

‘We know that we will have to put a shift in because Rochdale are near the top of the table. If we can start with a high tempo both on and off the ball then we can make it difficult for them. Hopefully we can get a result and then start pushing up the table again.’

He goes on to explain that the players can take a lot of heart and confidence from our earlier meeting, especially as just as we were getting back into it the floodlights failed, but we didn’t let it overly affect our momentum, even though as Neal Cooper says, we weren’t the better side on the day.
