Rhys Weston has been confirmed as an AFC Wimbledon player. Weston wasn’t able to feature against Torquay and Millwall in the opening games of the season.

With international clearance given to him, which was needed from the Malaysian FA following his spell in the country, so he’s now ready for his Wimbledon debut.

Weston, funnily enough, could have joined the Dons over 20-years ago with him confirming that the club were keen on him as a 9 or 10-year-old but eventually ended up signing for Arsenal as a kid.

Better than never Rhys, with a debut set to come this weekend.
