Kennedy Adjei has been signed by Terry Brown on a two year deal but has been loaned out to Sutton United for the whole of next season.

Sutton Boss Paul Deswell said “I think this will be a good move for both us and Kennedy “and it was his first summer signing.

He was born in Ghana and arrived in the U.K. in 2001 when he then trained with Barnsley, South End and Millwall.

Finally in 2007 he signed up with Croydon Athletic where he only made one appearance in the Ryman League.

He then moved to AFC Wimbledon and through his hard work and enthusiasm became a reserve team regular.
Then in the summer of 2008 after a number of solid good performances for the Wombles he put pen to paper and signed on.

Since then Kennedy has been ever present in the Dons squad but the central midfielder endured a number of problems caused through injury last season.

But the Dons Boss was more than happy to keep him at Kingsmeadow with his impressive displays on the pitch when called upon.

Kennedy said: ‘I was shocked by the number of players released, and relieved my name wasn’t on the list.”
‘To go full-time is an opportunity for me, and hopefully the gaffer wants to keep me.”

So Adjei will return in 12 months time after hopefully having a successful injury free season at Sutton United while getting week in week out first team football and proving he has overcome his injury problems.
