THE DONS ENTER THE FA CUP in just under two months time, looking to repeat (or improve upon) last season`s run to the First Round Proper, which ended with defeat to League Two Wycombe Wanderers – the furthest Terry Brown`s team have reached in the competition since being reformed.

(The Dons team vs Wycombe that day last season was: Little, Garrard, Leberl, Inns, Haswell (Hussey), Hatton, Adjei, Davis, Godfrey (Finn ), Kedwell, Main (Mason). Subs: Pullen, Goodliffe, Judge, Aiteouakrim. Final score: 1-4.

FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round
(Prize money for round winners* – £12,500)

The Dons enter this season`s FA Cup sponsored by E.ON in the Fourth Qualifying Round, to be played on Saturday 24 October 2009, along with the other teams from the Blue Square Football Conference Premier.

FA Cup 1st Round Proper
(Prize money for round winners* – £18,000)

Should Wimbledon make progress past the final qualifying stage, the next round is the First Round Proper, and the Dons would be joined by the 48 clubs from Coca-Cola Football League`s One and Two. The First Round matches are scheduled to be played on Saturday 7 November 2009.

*NB: Prize money is the sum awarded for the furthest round a club wins a match in, rather than being accumulated from round-to-round.
