It’s been a mixed day for AFC Wimbledon on the injury front with one making progress in his return hopes but another player suffering a setback.

Andy Frampton was making his return, with what was hoped could be the precursor to his return to the Wimbledon first-team, in the reserve side in the London Senior Cup game against Cray Wanderers on Wednesday.

However his return from his dislocated shoulder saw him forced off with an ankle injury in the second half and could therefore have his return delayed.

The better news though is that Peter Sweeney played the entire 90-minutes of the 2-1 win and could no come into contention for the first-team when the Dons take on York City at Kingsmeadow this weekend, which could see his first involvement for 10-weeks due to a fractured metatarsal.
