Trialists Shown The Door

The two players who have been on trial at Kingsmeadow have not done enough to win contracts and have been shown the door by Terry Brown.

With Brown still looking for a forward and a midfielder to complete his squad for next season the duo had been invited to show what they could do. Baz Savage didn’t quite fit the bill as Brown explained on the AFC Wimbledon Official website: ‘Baz is a very talented forward who likes to show up and get the ball to feet. However, I am looking for a player to run in behind defences.

Polish midfielder Szymon Sidorowicz also saw his chances of a contract go out the door as his apparent natural position in the Dons squad is already filled with Brown saying: ‘In Szymon`s case, he looks a natural full back rather than a midfield player and we already have two very talented contracted players in that position.’

He continued: ‘I would like to wish both players the best of luck in finding the good clubs that they both deserve. I am now only really looking for another forward and we have earmarked two possible signings for the future.’
