Aldershot born Christian Jolley has joined AFC Wimbledon; he`s 22 and can play left back or up front.
Jolley will be jumping up two leagues from the Ryman Premier to the Blue Square Premier, while 0nly nine months ago was turning out for Surrey Intermediate side Oxted & District.
Jolley added: “I sort of invited myself along to a summer trial at Kingstonian, and they kept asking me to go back. “
“One thing led to another and the next thing I knew I was playing for them.”
Terry Brown said: “He combines bravery with pace.” Adding “One of his biggest attributes is his willingness to learn and enthusiasm to play. “
“Christian is six foot tall with a slim frame that we aim to build up during the summer.”
So will the 22 year old youngster from Kingstonians be able to make the step up to Blue Square Premier and be successful after a short spell playing in the Ryman Premier League.
